Become Certified and Maintain Your Certification

SMRPCO offers certification for different points in your career. ‎

  • 4.  Schedule Your Exam

    The CMRP and CMRT exams are delivered by Pearson VUE, the official computer-based testing provider for SMRPCO. Upon completing your application and paying, you have six months to sit for the exam. You can log into Pearson VUE to schedule your exam.

  • 5.  Take Your Exam

    There are over 5,000 Pearson VUE testing centers worldwide, including on U.S. military bases. Candidates can locate a testing center online here. SMRPCO exams are delivered via computer at Pearson VUE facilities, and candidates are not required to bring their own computer.

  • ‎6.  Share Your Achievement

    Let your professional network know you are CMRP or CMRT certified by adding ‎our digital badge to your email signature, bio, and LinkedIn profile. All candidates ‎who attain a passing score on the CMRP or CMRT exam will also receive a ‎complimentary hard-copy certificate. More information is available here.

  • 7.  ‎‎Maintain Your Certification

    After three years, CMRPs and CMRTs are required to submit a recertification ‎application detailing their continuing education and to pay a recertification ‎renewal fee to maintain SMRPCO certification. More information about the ‎recertification process is available here. ‎
