Registration Launches for SMRP’s Inaugural Virtual Case Studies Event

ATLANTA (May 11, 2021) – Registration is open for Maintenance & Reliability in Practice -- A Virtual Case Studies Event – the first ever to be hosted by the Society for Maintenance & Reliability Professionals (SMRP). On June 23-24, more than 20 industry experts will come together to share real-world insights, examples, and knowledge with maintenance and reliability professionals.

The two-day event will be divided into two tracks, Tools & Technology and Process & Asset Improvement. The speakers will represent various industries and organizations from around the world, including Nexus Global, The Barbados Light & Power Company, Saudi Aramco, and more. The 16 case studies presented will highlight current and pressing topics for maintenance and reliability professionals, such as “Setting Up Your Asset Performance Management (APM) Program for Success,” “Optimizing Plant Performance & Energy Conservation,” “Deploying CMMS Systems on Mobile Devices,” and more.

“We are looking forward to bringing together maintenance and reliability professionals from around the globe to speak about what they know and do best, and to help others in the profession learn and grow,” said Erin Erickson, executive director, SMRP.‎

SMRP is no stranger to virtual events. The 2020 Annual Conference, originally planned to take place in Columbus, Ohio, transitioned to a virtual format due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This event welcomed over 600 attendees and included a wide variety of track sessions, workshops, and more. Similarly, SMRP Simposio, an event held solely in Spanish, welcomed nearly 75 attendees in its virtual format.
